Inform and Educate
The Garden City "Go for Zero” Underage Drinking Prevention Project is a community effort to prevent and reduce underage drinking by educating youth and young adults on the risks of underage substance use, through community forums, enforcement, and other initiatives.
Project partners including GC Parks & Rec, GC Police Department, GCTV, and Garden City Community Coalition, will foster a long-term commitment to reducing alcohol use among our community’s youth.
This project is funded for 4 years (2020-2024) by the STOP Act Grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA).
If you are interested in joining the project, please call 734-793-1857 or email megans@gardencitymi.org.
